Our goal is to raise 6 million dollars to build a state-of-the-art 25,000 square foot center for surgical and primary care services. It will also include a visitor center, with a dormitory for our volunteers and a place to provide education and training for the community. We'll serve our first primary care patient in 2019 and our goal is to serve our first surgical patient in 2020. We are incredibly honored and very proud to be playing a small role.
Merlin Antúnez, M.D.
There are people that are just waiting for a miracle to happen. One World Surgery is making a big impact in the community because of that. I think that they are so grateful. They are able to go back to work. They are able to give a hug to their family and say "I'm back."
LuLu Daly, R.N.

I found a solution to my problem. I am so grateful for the surgery center. And I’m excited to work here now! Here, they treat you like family.

The opportunity to really serve our mission in such a powerful way, to help people live healthier lives. All people. Not just people who are our patients in our day-to-day practice, but all people. To help the health system work better for everyone. This is a way that OptumCare, all of our colleagues - our clinicians our non-clinicians - can really come together to serve that mission, in a really meaningful way.
